Tokyo Idol Festival, the worlds biggest festival for Japanese Idols and fans, is normally held in the beginning of August, in the sweltering heat of summer, at Odaiba.
This year, 2020, the month that the festival is being held has been shifted to October for the first time. The current dates are the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of October. This means the instead of the sweaty weather of Summer, the groups will be rocking through the much more mild weather of fall/autumn. This can only be a good thing for both the attendees and the performers.

This seems an extremely sensible move by the organisers.
Those of you who have been to Tokyo Idol Festival in the past can surely recall the pure resilience necessary to power through the heat whilst consuming gallons of water – taking only short breaks to ensure that you’re in the shade to re-charge prior to seeing the next group you’re interested in.
As always, we’ll keep you up to date with Tokyo Idol Festival 2020 news as it breaks.
